Turf managers aerate their sporting surfaces to relieve compaction, and by improving the water infiltration and air exchange, stimulate root and shoot growth. Strategic use of the aeration process will assist in the drying of excess moisture and promote deeper root growth for improved heat and drought tolerance.

Verti-drain – Provides a solid-tine or ‘shatter’ aeration which causes minimal surface disturbance and break-up of the subsoil. This form of aeration is often recommended for soils that are heavily compacted beyond the depth of conventional core cultivation.

We can provide a cost effective solution to compacted and poorly drained soils in parks and all types of sporting grounds using the Verti-Drain™ deep-line aerator. Our Model 7521 Verti-Drain™ has a working width of 2.10m and a depth of up to 400mm providing a fast and efficient aeration.

Tractor mounted scarifier allows large areas to be economically scarified.

Power slicing cuts a slit up to 125mm deep by 6mm wide and in the process shakes the soil to help prevent compaction.

Our ‘Tractaire’ removes cores of sod that allows air, water and fertilizer to penetrate to the root zone to promote rapid growth of turf grasses.
